Rayne Demonseed Tamale Tech HPL Deck 39"

Deck only. Without griptape.

Classic board from Rayne. Perfect for long distances. Very low to the ground and you can mount really big wheels...
Medium size although good for sliding or freerides.

The Demonseed has a 3 stage rocker and DEEP TUB Concave. The 3 stage rocker makes rotations and slides easier through ergonomics while adding pockets for your feet to grip in slides. The concave has a wide flat center and aggressive cups for your toes and heels. This is the perfect concave for a double-drop deck and will keep your feet in place when sliding and cornering the board. The flat center is really comfortable for pushing the board. The Tamale Technology provides our signature tattooed embedded in high pressure laminate (HPL). The HPL stiffens and protects the board from scratching and moisture.

Nice rigid deck with a cool graphic

Ordered this deck at the start of the year, and have been skating it for 2 or 3 weeks now. Really nice rigid deck, perfect for long distance cruising. The footwells make you feel in control of the deck, and makes it feel really nice to go downhill.

The drop in the deck is about 2cm (just under one inch), and even with 85mm wheels its quite low. Not so low that you get caught on speedbumps though, so thats nice.

I really love the purple deck, so I applied a nice clear griptape from Jessup. Riding it with Orangatang Caguama wheels, though even something bigger like the Orangatang Dad Bod wheels would probably feel amazing on this deck.
