I'd like to make it annoyingly clear that I was not at all about hopping on the whole "zombie apocalypse" train when it first came shambling into the pop-culture Grand Central station. Yeah, that's right, I'm the arrogant kind of jerk who doesn't appreciate it when my once maligned, lowly substrata of interests suddenly become popular beyond all belief and celebrated by the mainstream masses. However, even I must admit to taking a certain delight in these Hot Topic instances, because they do provide me with the opportunity to go full pompous ass and dish out my most favorite of oft abused phrases, "Punk was cool, too bad you missed it."
