The "Ripper" Artwork Story:

"The Ripper," perhaps the most legendary skateboard graphic of all time, was illustrated in 1983 by the famous Powell-Peralta artist V.C. Johnson. Originally intended as a "Bones Sold Here" dealer sticker, the graphic made its way onto t-shirts and eventually onto decks. A staple of the Powell-Peralta line for over 30 years!
