Camber? Yes, camber. Bumpy Hales thinks outside the box and it shows in his pro model. This board is different, but not just for the sake of being different. When something works so well and feels so good, you just have to push the boundaries of conventionality.
The Excalibur features a gentle elliptical concave and a light and wide W on the back. We've seen something like this before. The revolutionary innovation lies under the front foot. A very light curvature between the ball of the foot and heel tilts the foot slightly forward. The concavity at the heel is kept very minimal and rises under the toe. Along with the slightly deeper front flush cut, this helps shift the rider's weight forward, increasing control and stability during tucks and slides.
At the same time, it gives a slight pressure to the foot arch, ensuring perfect contact. Simple yet effective.
Bumpy himself has always cut his previous boards asymmetrically. Knowing that not everyone likes asymmetric boards, we decided to add cutting lines to the underside at the front. This way, whether you're goofy or regular, you can customize your board following Bumpy's example.
This board rides even better with added weight. That's why two mounting options for our Gravity Plate or other weights are already drilled in.
The result is a board that's just like Bumpy: completely unique and absolutely innovative.
